Day Dreaming

I found myself day dreaming
or possible actually dreaming considering
it was close to 11pm.
But my mind decided to take me for a
stroll through maybes.

I am very imaginative,
inside my head.
And I enjoy keeping it there because
if I share people get to read it and
criticize it and realize I'm rather strange.

Anyway it followed along the lines of
the future and being married and
having a family and such.
The things that a lot of people think about.
Well I went through a phase where I didn't
really want kids and could see myself working,
living in a great house and vacationing to really cool places.
But this dream or fantasy seemed so
possible and happy, that I thought,
"I could do that. Have a family and a house."

Which freaked me out a little.
I can't even think of dating.
Literally the thought freaks me out.
Mostly because my parents raised me thinking
that you didn't need to date until you
were ready to get married.
And I am not ready.
But I am at an age to start thinking about it.
Circling back to the freaking out.

I guess the struggle is in seeing multiple options for
your future and liking them all.
Maybe that is a way to prepare yourself,
not settling on one thing can save you from
disappointment or regret.

But I'm not over thinking it because the
night before this day dream,
I had an actual dream
and I was taking care of a baby,
but it wouldn't stop pooping.
Like all over, constantly.
Eventually I just held it over the toilet.
I also informed the parents something
was wrong with their child.

And the night I had the wonderful day dream
I didn't fall asleep until 3am and
then I dreamed a bunch of people dressed as
superheros came and started attacking my neighborhood.

So my options in the future are:
Constantly pooping baby,
Wonderful marriage and family,
Crazy psychopaths that I have to fight.

And I guess this brings us back to the dream post
from a couple weeks ago.

The point of this?
Does there always have to be a point?

I do have a riddle though

What do you peel the outside,
cook the inside,
eat the outside,
and throw away the inside?

Summer Semester

Anyone taking summer classes?
Fun isn't it?
Yeah not really.
First, I like to shut my brain down
 when summer comes but,
I need this class before starting college in the fall.
But I am having some problems with my teacher.
The "pace" is up in the air except for the first two weeks,
you have to have submitted 6 assignments.
Which to me sounds like 6 lessons.
Friday night week 2 I am ready to finish my last two
lessons when the next three don't have submissions.
Literally three lessons with 10-16 pages each and
nothing to submit.
Ridiculous.
Mostly because the pace chart/syllabus
says week 1: lessons 1.01, 1.02, 1.03
Week 2 :Lessons 1.04, 1.05, 1.06.
But they want you to be on lesson 1.10 by week 2.
It really is crazy. Then I finally get done with these
lessons and I'm ready for a test, but no.
I have to write an argumentative essay.
In a MATH CLASS!
I don't like math.
So I write it and I use Prezi presentations,
but my teacher says I can't use Prezi,
even though the lesson said it was an option.
So I am not doing well in the class,
But I do this talk to the teacher evaluation
and ace it.
This is my problem.
I'm really good at (pardon the french)
BS-ing those type of assignments.

So my summer has been filled with crafts,
fundraisers, and terrible math classes.

How is your summer?
Best Wishes

Busy Bee

It is the time of year when everything
seems to be happening.
Students are ready to finish the semester,
teachers plan recitals, parties, tests, and much more.
I personally think we should divide all of
these events up over the months but it tends to
fall to just a few weeks.
And then summer.
I love summer! It is my favorite time,
especially when I get to go to the beach.

But now I have a job that doesn't take summer off.
So I have to put in for actual vacation days.
It's strange getting old.
And I'm taking an online class this summer
so I won't be completely school free.
But I'm still excited.

I was going to talk about something completely different,
its been on my mind for days.
Remember the post about dreams
and how I figured I have sleep problems because
I don't confront people in reality.
Well I stumbled onto a situation that
I felt had wronged me.
After venting to my very best friend,
I decided not to confront that person.
1. Because I knew that they simply would brush it off.
2. It would serve no purpose ruining a night
just so I would feel better.
I also figured that if they did it on purpose,
I would only give them satisfaction over my reaction.
So I'm trying to let it go,
even though they did the wrong thing,
I'm the only one who is hurt.

Now that I understand my sleep problem
I'm better at addressing why I'm not sleeping.
But that doesn't solve the problem.
It's something I'm working on :)
Anyway I'm planing a trip to Texas with sister
so here are some fun beach/summer pictures.
Baseball-The American pastime.

My family loves the mountains so summer for me would
include mountains.
Disney- We live close and go to a Christian concert night
but this year we are going to Texas instead.

I've been para sailing twice now
and I love it!
I would love to go again.

4th of July is huge for my family
so I made this last year.

So I covered like five topics.
I hope you have a great end of the semester
and start your summer planing soon!

Spring Break 2015

I know what you are thinking,
Not another person telling all about their awesome
plans for Spring Break...
Nope my plan, because I have online classes
and I don't really get a spring break,
especially with work.
I could ask for the time off and get it but I like work.
And money :)
But I do have plans to go to the movies at lease once,
get ice cream with friends and visit the beach at least once
and visit my best friend in St. Augustine for the day.
Really not exciting or exotic plans for the week.

So it kind of got me thinking about the people who don't
have the time or resourcing to do something crazy.
Which gave me the idea to share some ideas on easy
Spring Break ideas.

1. Play Tourist.
Your local area can be a treasure trove of fun
visit your online visitors bureau or locate your visitor center and explore.

2. Girls day.
Local shopping or browsing maybe get your nails done too.
That is on my list of things to do but I'm
waiting for my nails to grow.
You can also organize a slumber party.
Movies, comfy clothes, maybe some spa treatments.

3. Day trip.
The price of gas might make you cringe but
grab some friends and split the cost.
Set out for a planned day or a day of getting lost.
(Pack snacks or their will be blood) ;)

4. Tour your local restaurants.
This is on my list too.
Set out to eat, eat, eat,
You don't have to do a full meal
but ask for drinks and appetizers and try out new places.

5. Museums and Aquariums.
Art is coming back in a big way.
Street art, pop culture, and even historical are making
their way into fun chic environments.
Try out locally or drive to the "big city"
And aquariums are awesome...

Have fun and be safe!
